Princeton Disability Awareness Group

A financial analyst who possesses a decade of experience, Benjamin Spacapan is a full-time graduate student at Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School. Benjamin Spacapan is an alumnus of Princeton University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in history. During his time there, he coordinated the Princeton University Rugby Football Club’s participation in Princeton Disability Awareness (PDA).

PDA is a student group that promotes disability awareness, inclusion, and education by hosting campus events that bring Princeton students and the community together. Every year, the organization hosts spring and fall carnivals where children with disabilities and their siblings can participate in a variety of family-friendly games and activities, ranging from student performances and sports to arts and crafts. The children are paired with a Princeton student who serves as their buddy for the day.

The carnivals take place annually in April and November, and the festivities feature a different theme each year. The spring 2019 event had a beach theme.
